Ashley also conducted multiple parent psycho-educational groups. At Oliver Pyatt Center, Ashley was responsible for designing and running groups based on addiction and relapse, and also counseled individuals, families and couples. While working at Family Recovery Specialists, Ashley conducted bio-psycho-social-spiritual histories and summary evaluations, counseled adolescents and their families, and ran substance abuse groups 4 nights a week.
In addition to being a prominent adolescent therapist, Ashley has presented at the Florida School Counseling Association Conference (FSCA), to the school counselors of Miami Dade, and to general audiences speaking on the topics of substance abuse, eating disorders and developmental growth of young women between the ages of 8-18 (covering the full array of cognitive, emotional and social growth).
