Dr. Deborah Hecker is a licensed psychoanalyst and relationships expert with over 38 years of clinical experience. She holds a graduate degree from Columbia University and The Union Institute and has maintained private practices in New York, Washington, DC, and Miami. Dr. Hecker specializes in individual and couples counseling, with a particular focus on helping people navigate separation, divorce, and identity reconstruction following a relationship loss. She offers all of her services online/virtually, making her accessible to clients throughout Florida and beyond.
She is the creator of the Yours, Mine, Ours: Relationships Done Right model, a framework designed to help clients develop strong individual identities and bring their authentic selves into healthier partnerships. She is also the author of three books: Who Am I Without My Partner?, Torn Between Two Loves, and The Entrepreneur's Shrink. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hecker is trained in psychoanalysis, mediation, collaborative law practice, grief recovery, and addictions, and has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs.
