Practicing in Boca Raton

Nina Batista is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida, specializing in complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, and coercive control. She is a nationally recognized therapist, coach, and educator dedicated to helping survivors break trauma bonds, reclaim their voice, and rebuild their lives after psychological abuse.

Nina runs a private therapy practice in Florida where she works with individuals navigating the deep emotional wounds of toxic relationships, with a special focus on survivors of narcissistic abuse and coercive control. In addition to her clinical work, Nina also offers a self-paced online coaching program, —designed for women across the globe who are ready to heal from emotionally abusive relationships, reconnect with their authentic selves, and reclaim their confidence on their own terms.

With advanced certifications in Complex Trauma, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narcissistic Abuse Recovery, Nina brings a rare and powerful combination of clinical training and lived experience. As a survivor of covert narcissistic abuse herself, she intimately understands the confusion, self-blame, and invisible wounds that so often go unrecognized—and untreated.

Her work is rooted in evidence-based practices, psychoeducation, and a fierce commitment to empowering women who have spent years trying to fix others while abandoning themselves. Nina is also partnered with the Florida Department to End Domestic Violence, where she provides professional trainings on coercive control and trauma-informed care for clinicians.

Whether through therapy or coaching, Nina is known for her compassionate, no-nonsense approach. She helps clients stop obsessing over their abuser, break free from destructive patterns, and step into the most powerful version of themselves. She also works with teenagers who are adjusting to their parents’ divorce and can help couples wanting to navigate complex relationships.
