I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience providing individual, couple, and family therapy. Picking a therapist can be a difficult and overwhelming task. My approach is simple and effective, solution-focused with Cognitive Behavioral interventions. My goal is to provide you with actual skills and tools that you can implement on your own in order to manage your anxiety. Whether it is related to a traumatic experience, an unhealthy relationship, or difficultly setting boundaries and accomplishing your own goals, together we will sort out the “mess” and correct the problem.
Problem Solving is not a flawless process. There are countless obstacles that can stand in our way. Your mindset and established attitudes can definitely be a barrier. Your mindset is your collection of thoughts and beliefs that shape your habits and affect how you think, feel, and what you do. While working together we will explore your thoughts and concerns and identify how you can challenge and gain control of your life and while reducing anxiety and conflict that you are experiencing.
I will offer you an à la carte type of service. Your therapy will be enjoyable and effective but most importantly individualized to you and your needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a technique that aims to improve mental health by focusing on challenges and changing unhelpful distortions and behaviors. It improves emotional regulation and develops personal coping strategies that targets problem-solving.
