Jeymarie Guerra, LMHC, TF-CBT Certified Therapist is a bilingual Spanish and English licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida, TF-CBT Certified Therapist and a play therapist in training. Also the owner of Supportive Engagement. Has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.
She enjoys working with children as young as 3-years-olds, pre-teens, and adolescents, and young adults to learn to self-regulate, and express themselves, gain courage and feel capable of mastering the world without hesitation. She encourages parents and clients to actively participate in sessions, whether it’s directly or indirectly, to get the best results.
For young adults (18-25), she actively works together with them to help them adjust to new phases in life and new challenges that elicit strong emotions. For trauma survivors, no matter how old, she actively works together in a calm, safe environment using Trauma Focused CBT, to help clients gain mental and emotional freedom from their untold story.
