Alisha W. Singh is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia, and a Qualified Supervisor for Florida Registered Mental Health Interns (QS-RMHI). She holds a master’s degree in applied psychology from Lynn University and is the founder of Compassion Focus Counseling and Consulting, LLC. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and maintains her Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR) certification.
Before entering the counseling profession, Alisha built a career in Human Resources with state and local government agencies, where she facilitated training, coaching, and professional development initiatives. This experience provides her with a unique understanding of workplace dynamics, organizational culture, and employee well-being.
Alisha provides mental health counseling, couples counseling, professional coaching, consulting, immigration mental health evaluations, and Mental Health First Aid® training. She works with individuals and couples experiencing relationship challenges, communication difficulties, and the emotional complexities of separation and divorce. Her clinical practice also focuses on trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, substance use concerns, and occupational stress. Her integrative, evidence-based approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Alisha has specialized training in trauma and crisis response, including Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Firefighter Culture Clinician Awareness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
Alisha is committed to mental health advocacy and education and collaborates with community organizations to promote mental health awareness and access to care. She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), and is a Certified Mental Health First Aid® Instructor.
