Rachel Llerena is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, and founder of Moon Within Counseling. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Barry University and specializes in treating eating disorders, food addiction, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
Rachel is EMDR-trained and uses a trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and collaborative approach. She believes therapy can help individuals move beyond simply managing symptoms to developing a deeper understanding of themselves, their needs, and the life they want to create.
Through Moon Within Counseling, Rachel offers virtual therapy and collaborates with other members of a client’s treatment team when appropriate, including dietitians, psychiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
