Yisel Ferrera-Moreno is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and co-founder of Moon Within Counseling. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and specializes in trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, food addiction, relationship and attachment concerns, and life transitions.
Yisel is EMDR-trained and utilizes a trauma-informed, relational, and integrative approach to therapy. Her work focuses on helping clients understand how past experiences may influence present emotions, relationships, and behavioral patterns while building greater self-awareness and emotional well-being. She strives to create a therapeutic space that is compassionate, collaborative, and clinically grounded, where clients feel supported in processing difficult experiences and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Through Moon Within Counseling, Yisel provides virtual individual therapy, EMDR therapy, and EMDR intensives. As a Florida Qualified Supervisor, Yisel also provides clinical supervision to Registered Mental Health Counseling Interns.
